Lennox g26q3 We have a G26Q3-75-5 Lennox Furnace that isn't working properly. I have replaced the fasco 7021-9450 induction motor/fan. The induction motor starts up but shuts of before the blower will start and the gas will ignite. Any Ideas?

Electronic ignition or pilot type? assuming electronic ignition, check the airflow sensor for dirt in the peto tube, or a defective sensor, if you hear the high voltage click but have a failed ignition chec that the pilot is being lit, and that the thermopile/infrared sensor is good. one of those is your problem.

Hello, most likely the capacitor has failed and needs to be replaced. the capacitor is a small oval or round can with either two or three prongs on it. When a capacitor goes bad the motor has trouble starting.

Hello. trying to install a skuttle 55UD humidifier and connect it to a Lennox G26Q3/4 furnace. Does someone know where to connect the humidifier wires so it runs only when the furnace runs? thanks

The best advice is to have a technician complete the task of installing the unit correctly. If you do a mismatch or reverse polarity, the chances are you could damage the circuits to both systems and end up with a replacement cost way beyond that of an installer.

Furnace computer won't let furnace light

What is the model number? I have an SLP98 (installed on 11/29/2011).... and if I take the cover off the front of the furnace the panel that has the fancy "Lennox" badge on it) you will see two clear round windows about the size of a half dollar (one high on the furnace box and one lower on the blower box.) If you look downward into the window on the blower box you can see a red LED display that will sometimes flash error codes like E228 (one character at a time). If your model has something like this, let me know. I've done some DIY fixes recently out of necessity....and their easy.....and several technicians confessed they didn't know much, if anything, about the newer high effieciency Lennox gas furnaces.

Itseems as though the condensation trap on Lennox G26 not working

Hi!
Take of both access covers on your furnace. In the bottom compartment (where the indoor blower fan is) there is a condensate trap, It will be black, gray, or white. Disconnect the rubber tubing that is connected to it (these tubes run up to the collector box in the top compartment. Remove the condensate trap and wash it out until it is clean inside. You will have to shake it some to get all the dirt out of it. Reinstall it and you should be good to go. Hope I was of help to you!! Good Luck!!

Lennox furnace not heating up

sounds like the ignitor is bad. there shoule be a 2 wire plug going to it. after the inducer motor starts, you can check the voltage at the 2 wire plug located under the burners. you can unpug it to check voltage or you can probe the back side of the plug with a volt meter. if you are getting 120v but it is not glowing, it is bad. you can also ohm it out while it is off.
