Was your battery disconnected for any reason. If so...It might be necessary to enter a four digit code. If you don't know it call your dealer and they can tell you it from the vin.

Radio stop working

Sometimes this happens. Because a fuse blew. For a radio, sometimes in the red wire going to the radio is a black cylindrical fuse holder. Check for that. Or even in the fuse box is a separate fuse for the radio. Just check if the radio gets the 12 volt. If it is getting the power, there could be something defect in the radio. But that would be more difficult to pinpoint, without having the radio on my desk.

Radio stopped working in a 2000 mercury sable replaced the radio but still won't turn on. All fuses are ok what do I do

When the radio stopped working (was this the factory radio?), did you lose any other electrical accessories or lights/interior lamps? How did you determine that the fuses were OK? Did you have any work done on the car just before the radio stopped working? Do you have an aftermarket vehicle security system? Sorry for all the questions, but the answers will help in diagnosing the problem.

Radio, CD player, Sync, clock stopped working on my 2008 Ford Explorer

Most likely a fuse. If your fuse box is labeled it will say radio under the fuse. If its not check your owners manual for location of fuse box and radio fuse.

My cars radio does not turn on.

It's definitely a fuse. I would change out the radio fuse and the fuse that controls your door locks. Fuses don't have to be split to stop working.

My radio stopped working. I changed the fuse labeled CIG on the digram (under the dash fuse box) but this didn't help the radio. The clock also doesn't work but that stopped before radio did. What fuse...

Need to know your mocel and year to see if I have a diagram I can tell you the "cig" fuce is for the ciggarette lighter/power outlet. Some Toyota's the fuse for the radio is the "ACC" fuse and others say "RAD".

Suddenly my radio and clock stop working, it was working for few day after it stopped working but again stopped working.

You could have a short some where in the wiring. If its an aftermarket radio see if you can pull it out and check to be sure all wires are properly done.

If its a stock radio then check the fuse panel!

Radio just stopped working

Check the fuse box under the hood. It should be located on the drivers side. Open it up and check around for the radio fuse. Most likely labeled as "ACC" which is short for accessorie. It should be a 15 AMP fuse. Last winter my radio blew out as well and I check the fuse box and replaced the fuse and now it works fine. The fuse was burnt beyond believe though. If you havent already fixed the problem I hope this helps.

Radio sound stopped

You may have blown the fuse in the fuseholder for the radio power when jumping. Follow any wiores that come off the battery terminals and trace them to a fuse. Check that fuse and replace if needed. Also check fuse on back of radio.
