Some fuses are only hot when the ignition is turned to run and some are always hot and other are hot only when the fused part is turned on. so that is not your problem
you might need a new roller on the back of the drum, As for being louder when warm it's the part getting hot from Friction that is wearing the roller or roller pin down.
Most probably a venting problem and probably caused the heating element to ground out in its casing. Easiest way to verify is turn your timer to 30min and if dryer starts heating without pushing the start button you got a bad element caused by bad venting most of the time.
Hi, Does this dryer heat at first and then stop heating late in cycle? Remove the lower front panel and start the dryer. Look and see if the ignitor glows and if you get a flame or not. If the ignitor glows and then shuts off before you get a flame, the coils on top the gas valve need changed. If the ignitor does not glow, UNPLUG the dryer and check the fuse located on the blower housing (whits with two wires going to it). Check and see if it has continuity to it.If there is no continuity, change it. Please let me know if this helps you so far.
Have you tried cleaning the actual inside of the drier? When you use drier sheets the wax on the sheets melts onto your clothes and makes them soft, but the wax often gets stuck in the holes of the drier making it incapable of drying the clothes in one load. Try scrubbing the inside of your drier with some hot water.
I had the same problem, they wear out in the rear bearing slot and drag on the front slides, So I bought Sears heavy duty model and it was was running better than ever until my wife took it away when she left me. Hope this helps
pour some vinger in and run it thru a few cycle this will flujsh it out also if you have a hot tub supply store near you can buy a bottle of Foam Down and that will cut the bubbles down so you can wash again
