My Polaroid P40LED13 tv red light keeps flashing and will not turn on or off most off the time or just takes forever to do so please help if you can

If you are using the standard SNES cables with the round red, white and yellow 'Jack' plug connectors they are referred to as "Component" connections. On your remote there should be a button marked "COMP". It will probably be near the top of the remote near the Power button. This should switch the TV to the channel you need.

Obtain your owner's manual and see what that error code means, then follow the manual's recommendations.

U know how to solders?U have a high voltage problems,it a big black block of plastic with a red wire with a cap hook to a CRT(tv tube).Resolders that FBT,the flyback transformer,should solved this.Not than the FBT must replaced,because it shorted.

Ur power board have dead capacitors,Know how to solders?Take the tv aparts check for capacitors puff up or burst open in the power board.Replaced those capacitors.Or tries Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com buy a refurbih power board.

Sounds like your lamp is blown . Replacement part is UX21516 lamp. this is a common problem with my 50VG825 also, 3 lamps in less than 3 years. Try this if you have'nt already. Hope I helped

does anyone have the answer to this problem. it seems like alot of polaroid tv's are doing this. please if anyone knows how to fix the tv and get it to turn back on and not flash red to blue anymore, please let us know.
