ATT Uverse remote doesn't work well with Emerson TVs. Most will turn off with the correct code but NOT ON. Find the code that will turn OFF the Emerson TV.(volume should work too) When you want to want to turn ON your Emerson TV Try This (Believe it or not) Wave ATT Remote slowly and press ON in mid wave. The ATT remote on frequency must be slightly off. This works every time for me now that I know the secret. Remember Doppler Effect from High School Physics.
i install uverse, the auto seek is done by hit and hold TV and OK. wait
for lights to flash enter 900 and push play over and over SLOWLY and
when the tv turns off, press enter.
I tried every code suggested for my Viore with Uverse and nothing worked. Finally decided to reset the remote to factory settings using code 900 as described in the instructions from ATT uverse. The remote now works on my Viore tv and all I did was reset the remote to factory settings.
i do not think it would work with your tv. there has been problems when tech installed uverse on dozens of tv. you can try to purchase an universal remote and see if that works. it is just like a jvc vcr/dvd player/recorder which will not work with any tv but jvc. you can also call att tech to help

Yes you have to use the recommended Uverse codes, and follow the directions to enter the code. Hold the tv button down, on the Uverse remote, then with it stil held down add the OK button, let go of both, then you will see the lights at the top of Uverse remote light up, it is then ready to accept the code, it will be a four digit code, Go to [email protected], and look under TV, then programming the remote is there. Put remote Code in the att search box if you can't find it.
Hi, Maybe too late for you but ATT just gave me a code that works with my Vizio plasma. Code is 1343. Even the mute works correctly. They gave me some others to try but I didn't need them. Other codes were 1018, 0030 and 0056.
Try code 1465. On my Emerson LCD TV the only thing it won't do is turn the TV on -- all other functions are controlled by the AT&T U-Verse remote however.
