Bush TV set up colours look like looking through night vision lenses.

This is a new TV that we are trying to set up and the colours are strange like looking through night vision lenses, if we set the contrast to 9 and play with the colour and brightness and set the sharpness for 28 then we can clear it up but it looks like everything is set at twilight rather than in sunshine where colours are meant to be vivid. We are not connected to aerial but we don't watch TV just DVDs and play games? Any ideas? TIA

Try to reset the unit to factory default settings.
If the TV is under any kind of warranty, return it while you can.
Also, without knowing what kind of TV, Plasma, ect. it is had to pin point your problems.

Hope this helps

SOURCE: sharp tv audio problem

You may have a tunner problem. Try this turn your TV to channel 3 connect you cable to it and select a channel. If thesound has a problem what may be happening is the the audio detector may not be working properly or the audio amplification stages may not be working correctly from the audio detector. You will have to test the audio stage from the detector to the last audio amplifier to troubleshoot this problem. If you have experiences in this that's good if not take the set to a qualified service technician.

SOURCE: My vizio tv is making a buzzing noise when I watch

Hi, Mary with Dish Network Customer Service. I had this issue with my TV as well. You will need to turn the TV volume up and the cable volume down. The opposite way from how you have it now. This should resolve your issue.

How to clean lenses of night vison

Cleaning the lenses of night vision devices requires some care and attention to avoid damaging the delicate components of the device. Here are some steps to clean the lenses of a night vision device:
  1. Use a blower brush: Use a blower brush or a can of compressed air to blow away any loose dust or debris on the surface of the lens. This will prevent scratching the lens when you wipe it later.
  2. Use a microfiber cloth: Use a microfiber cloth specifically designed for cleaning lenses to gently wipe the lens in a circular motion, starting from the center and working outward. Be careful not to apply too much pressure, as this can damage the lens coating.
  3. Use lens cleaning solution: If the lens is still dirty, you can use a small amount of lens cleaning solution. Apply the solution to the microfiber cloth, not directly on the lens. Wipe the lens gently, and then use a dry part of the cloth to remove any excess moisture.
  4. Repeat if necessary: If there are still spots or dirt on the lens, repeat the cleaning process until the lens is clean.
To remove dark lines on the lens of a night vision device, you can try the following steps:
  1. Use lens cleaning solution: If the dark lines are caused by dirt or debris, you can try using a small amount of lens cleaning solution and follow the cleaning steps mentioned above.
  2. Use a lens pen: If the dark lines are caused by smudges or fingerprints, you can try using a lens pen specifically designed for cleaning lenses. These pens have a soft brush on one end for removing loose debris and a microfiber tip on the other end for wiping away smudges.
  3. Contact the manufacturer: If the dark lines persist or if they are caused by a defect in the lens, you may need to contact the manufacturer for assistance or repair.
It's important to note that cleaning night vision lenses can be tricky and it's best to follow the manufacturer's instructions or consult a professional if you're not sure about how to clean them. Also, avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that can damage the lenses.

Bush tv has a circle on screen like looking thru a telescope

HELLO

Funnily enough I have been given a 21 inch standard Bush set with the same problem!

It's a DEGAUSSING fault. This means the deguss circuit in the TV is not operating as it should - probably a faulty positor. When you switch the TV on (NOT FROM STANDBY) the circuit that removes magnetism from the screen does not work correctly.

Switch it off, unplug the set from the mains for 30 minutes or so and try it again. If there is no change, contact a TV repair centre.

Make sure there are no hifi loudspeakers next to the TV or a radiator as this can have an effect too.

ALL THE BEST! (:-)

Bush TV, model number RF6685VPL/A - Colours are wrong!

It seems that it is a degaussing problem. TV sets have a degaussing coil that when the TV is turned on , it automatically demagnetizes the screen. Never place any speakers or anything magnetic near or on top of your set. if you see swirls of color and like you say, wierd colors, it is that the screen is magnetized. Turn it on and off with the switch. Not the remote control. The degaussing coil only works by manually turn the switch on and off.
