Question about Audio Players & Recorders

Peavey xxl question....

Greetings...

My Peavey XXL started losing volume during my last gig.  It starts out at the volume you desire then after 10-15 mins the volume cut about in half.  I have checked all cables and ran a different head into the cab, without any problems.

    That was the problem.



    I had to take it to the local uberexpensive repair shop.

You may have a loose connection inside either to a transistor or the power supply. If everything looks good, you may need a new transistor. You need to do an ohm test or AC test to pinpoint which resistor is at fault.
