HOW TO RESET HARMAN KARDON AVR70

Hi, Try this. Hope this helps and I have the link here to the manual.
Processor Reset
If the AVr behaves erratically after a power surge, first turn off the front-panel
main
power switch and unplug the Ac power cord for at least 3 minutes. plug the cord back
in and turn the AVr on. If this procedure doesn't help, reset the AVr's processor as
described below.
note: resetting the processor will erase all user configurations, including speaker and
level settings, and tuner presets. After a reset, reenter all of these settings from your
notes in the Appendix worksheets.

To reset the AVR's processor:

1. press the front-panel Standby/on switch to place the unit in the Standby mode (the
Standby Indicator led will turn amber).
2. press and hold the front-panel Standby and memory/folder buttons until the reSet
message appears on the front-panel message display.
3. press the memory/folder button again to reset the AVr's processor.
If the AVr does not function correctly after a processor reset, contact an authorized
harman
kardon service center for assistance.
to locate an authorized service center,
visit our web site at www.harmankardon.com.

Phaser 7400 14: real time clock

According to my service manual, this error is occurring during the Power On Self-Test. While it is a "soft" error, it normally can only be resolved by replacing the Image Processor Board.

But wait! There's more!

Here may be a way to reset without the expensive replacement:
The most likely cause is that the Image Processor Board has not successfully loaded
its NVRAM contents (instructions) into RAM. All print engine operation halts, and
will only become ready when the Image Processor Board successfully boots.
1. Check for media or debris in the paper path.
2. Power cycle the printer.
3. Verifying Image Processor Board failure:
a. Power-off the printer, and remove the Image Processor Board.
b. Power-on the printer. Wait at least 5 minutes while the print engine
initializes. If there was a problem with the Image Processor Board, it will
now not affect the Engine Control Board.
c. If characters appear on the Control Panel display, the Engine Control Board
is functional and the problem is most likely with the Image Processor Board.
d. Turn off the printer and reseat the Image Processor Board and turn on the
printer to determine if seating was the problem.
e. Perform a PostScript NVRAM reset, see "Postscript NVRAM Reset" on
page 6-9.
f. Turn off the printer and systematically remove individual optional
components from the Image Processor Board to isolate a possible problem
component.
g. Replace the Image Processor Board.

I wish you luck with this repair.

Cyberhome ch-dvd 300 player willnot come out of standby and willnot reset after holding reset for 30 sec

Possible failure of the processor. You can shut down, power off the unit completely. Allow time - few hours - for the voltage to drain off thereby resetting any error voltage on the processor. Now repeat the resetting when you power and if there is no response the chances of the processor or motherboard having errors/damaged components are high which will require a voltage/signal/logic trace in the processor

The food processor stops working after use. I know there is a reset "hole" to make it start again. I can't see where it is and cannot find it in the manual. Please tell me where it is so I can...

Not all food processor have a reset button, some don't have. You have to be make sure that the unit is in fit, suited because it will on the interlock switch (the safety switch) before it operates normally.
I hope I give you idea regarding your food processor problem.
