QPS-525 not being detected. no eject, power lights come on randomly as you turn the unit off and on. Sometimes all lights, sometimes no lights, some times just two lights, sometimes one.
Makes no difference if it is connected to my equipment or not.

Sounds like a power issue. Check your power source (cable, plug, outlet) If possible try another power cable, or using a different outlet. It could also be a power adapter issue.

You need to load the drivers from the cd or find them on the internet. Mine did the same thing untill I reinstalled XP. I don't suggest you'll have to do that. Just find them on the internet... ward bones
1.Sometimes you can get them to run long enourgh to get your data by putting them in a static bag & plastic bag & placing them in the freezer fo a few hours I have left some in overnight try it for a few hours if you are leery of it and see if there are any signs of life
Listen. I had one of those. DO NOT BUY ANOTHER. They were made in Canada and the company has not been in business in over 5 years. Search for one that is compatible. TRUST ME Throw it away.
On the back of the drive or on the bottom you will see something like 12v 12A. The number before the V is your voltage. Take the drive to radio shack or Fry's Electronics and they can help you find the tip you need and could assist you in the proper voltage.
qps que model 525 will not start. used to work on xp and vista. I think disk is getting full - down to 4 gb left... but problem remains that I cannot start it or open it. Can anyone help?
