Flickering pixels My NEC model LCD1970GX 19" monitor is two years old. My computer is a mac. I have been experiencing an increase and now unbearable flickering of pixels in the light blue range. I've been taking a class "Fine Art Digital Photography" and have recently tried recalibrating the monitor with the MAC calibrator on my OSX but can't get rid of the pixels without lowering the contrast to almost nothing. Help!!

Go to control panel then settings then Display and it will give you options to change it, the color is also changed by buttons on the bottom of your monitor.
normally the 19" resolution can support up to 1280*1024, but if it comes with vertical lines in full screen, it might indicate the panel is no longer to work and probably it's time to replace new one.
Not sure what the problem is, but am experiencing the same symptoms every few minutes on a Mitsu Diamond Pro 91TXM, just retrieved from storage after 7 years. How's your screen holding up since April?
maybe ur screen was put into a lot of magnetic interference. so check for any magnetic rays emitting devices like speaker adapters etc. a simple check would be to degauss( its in the screen properties).
