This is a very old device. It was manufactured during the Windows 98SE OS era. They supported this device with driver all the way through Windows XP. There is no further support for this unit. If you cannot get Windows 7 to recognize the device using the Compatibility Mode for the most recent (Win XP) driver, then you are pretty much out of luck and need to upgrade.

Did you check if the driver of the spacecam was ok? Try to install the driver from here and then try again

be careful to select the exact model ...I also find something on 1.0 usb ....but I believe here its one of your model

Hello mid85, Welcome to Vista. The banner was correct. The fact that it worked at first was a fluke. Let me explain. The driver worked the first time because something messed up in Vista and the driver made all the proper connections with the OS and application to work, but this was a mistake kind of like falling off a moving motorcycle and finding one million dollars (It just does not happen every day). You can try to replicate the install, and this might work, for the most part you have to get all of the upgrade downloads from microsoft and somewhere in all of that will be a utility that will allow you to uae your camera.

uninstall all of programs you use to install your camera. After the uninstall plug your camera in and wait for the system to ask for your drivers, load your drivers and reboot your machine. If your drivers can run in a 16 bit emulation on a 32 bit emulation then you are good to go, if not well welcome to the world of vista.
