The MSM720 allows 250 guest users. From what I know of networking this should apply to your product as well.

How do i change admin.

Computer administrators have access to make certain changes on a computer that other users may not have.

Administrators have full freedom to install and uninstall programs, move files around and make changes to the Windows registry.

There are actually three ways that one may become the administrator on their computer; during the initial setup, change the settings in the Control Panel or by having the current administrator change the permissions on the account.

Set up an account during the initial setup of Windows on the computer.

During the setup wizard, you will be asked to set up an administrator account.
Choose the account name, user icon and password to set up the administrator account.

Step 1.
Change your account permissions if there isn't an administrator account currently setup.
During some installations Windows users were allowed to install the program without setting up an administrator account.

Click on "Start" then "Control Panel" to open the Control Panel.

Click on "Users and Accounts" or "Users Accounts and Family Safety".
Click on "User Accounts."

Click on "Add or remove user accounts" then "create a new account".

Assign the new account administrative privileges, a user name and password.
Click "OK" and close all windows. Log in under the new Administrator account.

Have the current administrator change your account privileges from "User" to "Administrator". She can do this by following the same steps described in Step 1.

Instead of creating a new account, she must click on your current account and then apply the new permissions.

If you do not currently have an account on the computer, she will need to create you one.

If I have an admin account on my home network, why do I keep getting the message that an Admin account is required to run Linksys advisor?

Depending on the User Account control , You may be logged in as an administrator but not allowing administrative access to the program. Usually Right clicking on the application could reslut in a RUN AS administrator...That should allow you to run the advisor. By default Administrator or not, is you try and run something that requires an administrator access ( registry changes.eg ) It will deny this default..

I forgot my skype passwod

Skype allows users to make free calls to computers anywhere in the world and make international phone calls on the cheap. To call, all users need is a working username and password. But nothing will disconnect your international calling plans faster than a forgotten Skype password. Without a working password, users cannot access Skype services. While Skype does not allow users to retrieve an old password, it allows users to reset their account passwords to remedy the problem.

1. Navigate to the Skype home page.

2. Click "Sign In."

3. Click the "Forgotten your password?" option under the Password box.

4. Type the email address you used to register with Skype into the box. Click "Get Password."

5. Check your email. Skype will send you an email with a link and a code to reset your password. Click the link in the email to access the password reset page.

6. Choose your Skype account from the list. Enter a new password. Confirm the new password by typing it again in the next box. Click "Change password and sign me in."

I hope you find it very helpful. Thank you for using fixya

We have a controller hp MSM710 and we are using ProCurve Wireless Access Point 10ag also but when we connecting the wifi several times asking the user name and password let me know about this

This is likely a config problem. how often does the msm710 prompt you to log in again - after a few minutes or longer. We can review your config remotely if you like, we also host a Radius backend.. http://prowifi.net

I forgot my adminastor password

Elevate a secondary account outside of the admin account to admin status, then login as it and change your admin password. If you don't have a secondary user account, you can create one (and elevate it to admin status) by running the following from the command line:

net user "useraccount" "password" /add
net localgroup administrators "your pc's name"\"useraccount" /add

Of course, remove the quotations and insert the user account name, your pc's name, and the password where those words show up. That should allow you to get into Windows with admin privelages and change the administrator password. I do it through the "manage" function by right clicking on My Computer. Then go to Local Users and Groups, fo to the users folder, right click on your administrator account and hit "Set password". Hope this helps!

Unable to use admin username remotely

Most routers do not allow admin access from their WAN (public) side due to security concerns. Many routers allow you to enable this service from their browser-based configuration screens, but the 6211 does not. However, you can access advanced commands by logging into the router with telnet (from the LAN side) instead of a browser. The "remoteaccess" command allows you to turn on the feature you desire.
Full instructions for the command-line interface are here:6211-I1 ADSL2+ Router Command Line Interface User's Guide

Control Panel is a part of the Microsoft Windows graphical user interface which allows users to view and manipulate basic system settings and controls via applets, such as adding hardware, adding and removing software, controlling user accounts, and changing accessibility options.

You should open Control Panel and then follow the rest of the instructions from HP - such as Open the Printer dialogue box or whatever.
