Changing bulb Can't figure out how to change the 650 w 120 v bulb in an Astroscope 5000 projector??

Is your 68D44 lamp the Califa 21 1/2" high bronze textured outdoor post light, https://www.lampsplus.com/products/califa-21-and-one-half-inch-high-bronze-textured-glass-outdoor-post-light__68d44.html . There are four screws that hold the frame (the top section) to the body. These are close to the top of the body of the lamp. Once you remove the screws, lift up the frame part of the fixture. Now you can remove the bulb and put in a new one. Place the frame back on the body of the light and replace the screws. See the Figure 1 in the manual, https://www.lampsplus.com/products/califa-21-and-one-half-inch-high-bronze-textured-glass-outdoor-post-light__68d44.html# , to see where to locate the screws on the unit.

Unplug the microwave and wait a bit before starting to replace the bulb. To change the bulb, you first need to take off the entire cabinet (remove 4 screws on the back of the microwave and lift the part up). Then see the parts diagram on the page given above. There are 2 screws that hold the switch and bulb assembly to the frame of the microwave. I believe you should be able to pull the bulb housing down from the middle of the assembly and then push the unit up after replacing the old bulb with the new bulb. However, the bulb housing may have two screws holding it in place.

Usually, you have to remove the outer case after pulling the power cord and wait for maybe 10 minutes to make sure the HV power supply has discharged itself. The lamp should be plainly visible at this point. Be sure to use the same wattage lamp as the original. Good luck!

If there's no obvious removable cover over the bulb (most often on the rear or side) and the owner's manual doesn't address it, then disassembly will be required.

You'll need to remove the outer cover (wrapper) to get to the bulb.

Always unplug a microwave before removing or installing any bulbs.

it has to be opened up to be able to change the bulb , but there is a dangerous high voltage capacitor that you should not touch as it still will hold a charge

Unscrew the vent at the top of the microwave(2 phillips head screws)
inside to the right you'll see another screw holding a metal panel. Unscrew this and take the panel off and you'll see the bulb, which will unscrew counter-clockwise
