For some books, downloaded from your PC, the only way to delete them is to attach the Nook Simple Touch to your PC and open the Nook Simple Touch on the PC. (For a PC, open the computer icon and look for the Nook icon and click on that.) From your PC you can delete files from the Nook Simple Touch or move them off the Nook Simple Touch to your PC.
IF you have a MAC or if my advice doesn't work, you should contact the Nook support. It is at the Nook website. Click on Nook and look for Nook support.
Seems you have a bad charging cable. You might purchase a replacement new one from B&N directly but that costs a arm and a leg. Do some research on Amazon and Yahoo shopping. Compare prices and you might just be able to score two or more for the cost B&N wanted for just one. As these things tend to get worn out over time it never hurts to have a spare or two. This happened on my old Nook Color. After digging around a while on Amazon managed to get two for just under $10 and free shipping. The shipping should be free as you can easily put two in standard large envelope.
I bought a keyboard for mine as well, it connected and everything but would not type, only certain ones will work with the Nook, I think Nook did this so we would have to pay the infalted prices for their items.
my nook tablet shows the green light that it's fully charged but when trying to turn it on nothing happens the screen does not com on or the nook symbol does not light up . can any one help me out here
Only certain Bluetooth can connect to the NOOD HD+ it is best to search google to see which ones do. I went through this and returned the item. It is another way for Nook to gouge you and make you buy their items.
Since the nook is wireless, I don't understand what the problem is. Doesn't your nook make a wireless connection? Does it recognize any of the other wireless signals in your area? If it doesn't recognize any wireless signals, then the problem is in your nook and not from your router. Try going by a Barnes and Nobel book store and see if it will log onto theirs. And most Barnes and Nobles have people trained on Nook troubleshooting.
Hi Craig,
Have you already installed or tried re-installing the Sony driver software? It sounds like that's the missing piece with what you've described above. You can download the Reader Library software from Sony's website and then try connecting your device once that's been installed.
