Great product, horrible instructions that focused on every language known to man rather than clear steps. Hope this helps....for the JAMO TORSTEN 2 WAY SOUNDBAR W/ WIRELESS 10" SUB 360 Series, as well as other Klipsch soundbars.
If the SoundBar is in STANDBY mode (solid RED status light), push the <SOURCE> button on the SoundBar until the status light is solid GREEN.
STEP ONE (Place the unit in learning mode): With the status light showing solid GREEN, press and hold the <SOURCE> and <MUTE> buttons on the front of the SoundBar at the same time (approximately 3 seconds) until the status light flashes RED and GREEN.
STEP TWO (Select the function to learn): Press the <MUTE> button once on the SoundBar (the status light changes to solid ORANGE).
STEP THREE (Learn the function): Hold your remote control within one foot and pointed at the front of the SoundBar. Slowly press the <MUTE> button on your remote control four times. On the first three presses, the status indicator light will flicker ORANGE with each press. If the unit has successfully learned the function, on the fourth press of the button, the light will flash GREEN several times and then turn to solid GREEN.
To program the remaining functions, simply repeat all steps, substituting <MUTE> with the new function and button presses (VOLUME UP, and VOLUME DOWN) on steps TWO and THREE.
If it's a new model you should send it back. If it's not then it sounds like the thing that does all the work has gone. It will be found on a heat sink. Try replacing that.
Hello Beerisfood,We are the Canadian distributor of the LightSpeaker. Sometimes very rarely the LightSpeaker may "un-pair" and "re-pairing" the unit to the base is needed. It takes under 10 sec and is very easy to do but must be performed in a specific manner. 1. Power to the LightSpeaker must be off.2. Turn on transmitter (base) 3. Press the "pairing" button on the transmitter (base) -lights will flash on the transmitter, during that time that they flash, turn power "on" to the LightSpeaker. The light on the LightSpeaker should now be green. Youtube has a great video as well on pairing. Type Klipsch LightSpeaker and the first video should walk you through the process. If that does not work contact www.lightspeaker.net as they are the manufacture of this product.(Klipsch was just the US distributor not the manufacture) Hope that helps.
