Let me get this correct, you can see mildew/mould inside your TV? If it's inside the LCD panel (obscuring the picture etc) then I'd get the panel or TV replaced. If it's just on some of the other internal wiring and the TV still works ok I would give it a good clean with some alcohol (such as isopropanol) , perhaps put a sachet of silicon moisture absorption crystals inside the TV somewhere, seal the TV back up and hope it doesn't occur again.

As you mentioned the problem can be realted to the plasma display panel. If you can open the tv then try on thing. When you open the tv you can see there will be ribbon wires going to the panel in the top and bottom side of the tv . You have to remove these connections from its sockets. now you will see some commponnets in the ribbon cabe. You have to resolder the SMD resistor in the board. Dry soldering in these resistors will lead to this problem. Also you have to check is there is any cooling fan inside your tv. Normally all plasma tvs have cooling fans inside. If the cooling fan dosen't work it will lead to overheating of components and this problem can occur. If all thses didnt help then the pannel is faulty. Have added a video which will help you its a different plasma tv

Model: Hitachi P50a402 plasma TV blinking blue light upfront but no TV signal or boot screen. Openned the unit and tried to get readings on power supply board, it seems I do have 3 and 5V but not able...
Did your already check your H- out section. This happen when your TV at protection mode. Its mean it detect defective parts inside the unit. Isolate the H- out power and open the TV Then check voltage if there's power reading meaning that the H- out section have problem.

Poor sound on my plasma bad speakers
It could be the speakers or the main board. The audio circuit is comprised of the main board, speakers and wiring. That's it. I have seen pinched wires cause problems as well as the other components listed above. You can call 1-800-samsung or go to samsung.com to find the nearest authorized service center.

Cracked on Inside glass on 42in Plasma-Panasonic
This sounds like the panel itself is cracked. If this is the case, the set wil not completely power up as youi have seen. The panel can not be repaired as such, it must be replaced. I can rpovide you with the part number and cost if you can post the model number. Be aware however, that the cost of the panel may come close to the cost of a replacement set.

I've seen this. This is a warranty issue. It's not the transmitter that's bad but the receiver inside the TV. Find someone in your area who does Sharp warranty.

It sounds like your tv is failing. Similar problems have been seen with Philips tv's. tv needs servicing.

I had this problem. If you are saying it happened on your plasma screen rather than the receiver box, then the problem can be that the power source inside the plasma needs to be replaced.But Philips will charge a fortune for just looking at the TV. So you might as well take it to your local repair shop.
