You have a bad capacitor near the flyback transformer. I beleive it is a 100volt 10 Mf at 85degrees. Replace with a 100volt 10Mf at 105 degrees. This will cure your problem. Ah yes the location# is 2465 and near the flyback transformer. Be extra cautious, because the pc trace is delicate and you can ruin this and the TV. And you may as well replace capacitor 2415, it is a 160 volt 2.2 cap. By now it is week and will cause a shut down soon. Relace with same value at 105 dgrees for more dependable time! This cap is north east of the flyback transformer! Good Luck and be careful!

Replace capacitor 2465 a 100 volt 10Mf at 85 degrees. You same value only at 105 degrees. Be care not to pull up the trace this cap is attached too. You need extra caution here!

Sounds like you need to clean the lenses and reflective area inside your set. It is easy and all you need is a screwdriver, windex and a paper towel. UNPLUG YOUR TV.   Take off your screen and screen protector and safely set them aside.
Clean only the lenses ( glass part) and the reflective mirror type area on the top of the inside of your set.  It will look like new. You need to do this at least once a year.

Magic focus grid not straight.

i'm no expert by any means; but I wonder if it could be as simple as the reflective screening on the inside comming loose. I have a 65" and I took it apart to clean it. The reflective screening looked to me like it could be a weak point. Just a thought.

32Inch Flat Screen SDTV - with picture distortion

If you have a TV shop at all any more in your area, any tech working on them will know where to look. This is a pretty common problem although you are getting it too early.
Since it will require a certain type of instrument (capacitance meter) to verify the problem part, I don't want to go into detail concerning a 'do-it-yourself' repair since it may be a little difficult to order these in single quantities and a decent shop should have the right value on hand.

It shouldn't cost too much.

Colored Lines Destorted Picture

I had the same problem , sent it into the shop and they said it was a capacitor . It is a $3.00 part and $75.00 for labor . But it did fix the problem . The labor charge was inflated I'm sure so if you someone who can do it and just get the part ,would be the way to go.

Dark screen/picture.

This 30" flat screen TV set may have a problem in the high voltage circuit of the TV set. You may be able to adjust this by taking off the back of the TV set. Look for the block where the large red wire runs up to the top of the picture tube. On this block will be two controls. one will say screen and one will say focus. Try and slowly turn the control that says screen or S on it clockwise and see if you can make the picture brighter. Turn up the control till you just start to see faint lines in the picture, then back the control down till the lines go away. If the picture does not come up when you turn this up, and all you get is a blank screen, you will need to have this set repaired by a qualified repair person. Good Luck
