ViewSonic Monitor VX3825WM will not light up

See if your monitor has a brightness control. The manual is here...

1. Verify the monitor's power cord is plugged firmly into the wall outlet and the back of the monitor.
2. Verify the monitor cable is firmly connected to the computer and the monitor.
3. Verify that you have turned the monitor power switch on.
4. If the power light on the monitor is not on, test the wall outlet (plug in a light or something you know works).
5. If the power light on the monitor is not on, try a different power cord.
6. If the power light is on and yellow or flashing, but nothing displays, or the display is incorrect, borrow a monitor from a friend. If that works, your monitor probably needs replaced.
7. Also, you could try your display on a friend's computer. If it doesn't work, your monitor probably needs replaced. If it works properly on your friends computer, the problem may be with your computers video output port, motherboard video chip (or video card, if you have one), or drivers.

If your ViewSonic LCD monitor has stopped working with a blinking green power button, It typically means that there is one or more failed capacitors in the monitor. It would be best to send the monitor in to Viewsonic for service or to purchase a new monitor.

I've been having the same problems with my Viewsonic.I plug it in and the blue light blinks but there's no picture it's just a black screen.I do know if Viewsonic doesn't repair my monitor I'll never buy anything from them again.I have the LCD Viewsonic 22' Vx2235wm monitor.
Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong with mine?I've bought a new video cable & video card but the monitor still does the same thing?Thanks

it seems that there is a problem in the lcd back light or may be in power supply section

When turning on the computer we get analog auto save, and don't get as far as the desktop, how can I solve this problem

Considering the price of monitors versus the cost of repair. It would cost less to replace the monitor.

check no pins on the monitor lead are bent or snapped off

MY VP930b has the same problem.
It takes a very long time (5-10 minutes) before it becomes normal.
