I have a Carrier window air conditioner and the control panel needs a reset, anyone can help me with that, its a 51GR window AC

    it acts weird, it shuts down unexpectedly, it goes to worm all by itself, the thing just gone crazy!!

TRY:
Power off (Disconnect)
Push together "Temp up" and "On/off" and reconnect power while pushing.

Shutdown and unit and restart

Loss or corruption of stored data
Using remote control go to Cool mode and shutdown the system, and then restart.
E1
Code validation check fail
Shutdown and unit and restart.
FL
Filter check warning
Press the “MODE” and (DOWN) “▼” buttons together until error code disappear.
Note: If the problem persist replacement of control board is needed.

-Push arrow up and arrow down together for 5sec. the room temp. will show.

Carrier ckc outdoor unit not starting automatically after installation
It is important that the connections from the outdoor unit is wired to align correctly with the indoor unit where the main control panel is located . The outdoor unit compressor is switched on from the processor here and so it is marked in detail to connect the wires.
Now the if the indoor unit is not powering then there is fault in the main control panel and you need to get help as this is a new unit and warranty should not be compromised.
It is possible that the new unit has a damaged control panel or power and so does not power. take help.

You need to look at the wiring diagram pasted on the door panel to get a starting point where to look. I suspect a bad pressure switch, jump it out and see if it starts.

Unit/control panel completely dead
Check your circuit breaker, "off" and "on" the breaker it my be tripped off. If it wont work may be some fuse blown in the control, or the control itself may be defective.
