We have just had to take our machine apart to get to the fuse that had blown on the circuit board. Fuse was replaced & all looking good to go, then it has come up with a new fault saying "close inner door & press start". I'm getting very frustrated with this machine now.
An F4 fault code means 'inner door opening'. Unfortunately since 31st December 2012, we have been unable to support CR01 and CR02 washing machines with spare parts or servicing. In October 2012 proactively wrote to all CR01 and CR02 owners that we'd interacted with within the last 3 years to make them aware of this.

What you are saying isn't true. I've not received any communication from Dyson about this and I last serviced my washing machine the 25th of September 2012!!!What you are saying isn't true. Hi George, please be assured we did write to owners to advise them that support for Dyson washing machines would be discontinued. I can only apologise if you did not receive this communication. An F11 fault code means 'no motor action'. Unfortunately since 31st December 2012, we have been unable to support CR01 and CR02 washing machines with spare parts or servicing. you will need to replace the fuse as this protects the bridge rectifier and triac from overload make sure you obtain a time delay fuse as a fast blow will fail almost instantly the fuse is a 10 amp time delay type
when my machine did exactly what you are describing
it turned out to be the on/off switch on the front panel going open circuit on the live side
replaced the switch now working ok
check the switch with a test meter making sure machine is disconnected from power supply
may be the rear bearing has gone,my con/rota packed in and i took the drum out cleaned ,replaced, greesed, and alls well , if it is the rear bearing DON"T let them tell you its scrap if you are good at diy you can take the bearing out and fit new one, bit of a time comsumeing job
Get Dyson out, the powerboard has failed, don't be fooled into thinking replacing the fuse on the board will do the job, it doesn't, a component has failed on the PCB which has caused the fuse to blow in the first place, £95 call out i'm afraid.
f11 fault code is a problem with the main power board (could be blown fuse) or a blown board check the fuse the board is behind the back plate in the bottem right corner (looking from the back of the machine.(!unplug before you take apart!)
normally error like this disappear when a hard reset is performed? did you leave the unit turned off by plugging out from wall power for one night ??
The F11 fault is a fuse blown on the circuit board. Apparently this fuse failing can blow the board so you may have to change the board if needed. The board is located at the back of the machine so you need to take the back off, unplug the board, change the fuse which you can buy at Maplins and put the board back. If it works fine, if not then you need a new board. Hope this helps you. First make sure machine is turned off. Second press & hold temperature button . Thirdly press the on button & hold at the same time as the temperature button. Fourthly release the 2 buttons at the same time . Fifthly press the soil button . Sixly turn machine off then back on & F11 message saying fault F11 must disappear.
if not try this process once again. if the error is not cleared then you will have to do as i have said you earlier.
