When I try to print an email from Outlook to my Brother MFC-7360N AllInOne Laser Printer, it appears to work (no error message, etc), but then nothing prints and nothing shows up in my print queue. When I checked what printer is selected, it shows the printer as "Brother PC-FAX v.2.2" just as it does for Word and Excel and other programs. I can print from other programs such as Word or Excel. I'm running Windows 8 on my Dell desktop computer.

Must be set on Brother MFC-7360N series. Set on PC-FAX will not print with all programs, as it is printing with an output through the fax. Go to control panel, select devices, printers to change to pc-7360 series. This should print on all programs.

If you have installed something since yesterday you might want to use system restore. the program might be causing the flaw. If not dont worry. You will need to uninstall the printer from your printer page and reinstall it. depending if it is a networked printer or a usb connected. If networked all you have to do is follow the install wizard. but if it is a usb you will have to go to the company's website and download a printer driver. after that it should work. dont forget to restart your computer. sometimes that can help too.

It is most likly not linked to word. Word is likly sending the prints to the wrong, obsloete or wrong copy of the printer.
When printing check to see where the doc is being sent to print.
Then go to printers to see which printer is your 2140 active and ofcourse do a test print. If the test print is good this is the correct link to your printer.

Usually this is caused by a foreign object or debris under the printhead path, or under where the printhead "parks."
Unplug the machine. Open the cover. Check the printhead path for little bits of paper, push pins, paperclips, staples etc. Note the location of the printhead.
If the printhead is at the far left, gently slide it towards the center (do not force it). Look carefully under where the printhead was stopped for debris. Use a flashlight if necessary.
Close the cover. Plug in the unit. Try again.
