Dvds have many display formats.
If the screen is small on some, then press the "wide" button on your flat screen tv remote. It will offer you bigger screen format options.

do you mean the writing on the screen is small or the whole screen is small ?
if the writing is small then you have just zoomed out of focus , you can zoom in by pressing CTRL + and zoom out with CTRL - on windows , or by using the scroll button on a mac.

ifthe whole screen is small then your resolution has gone somehow , to fix this right click on the desktop and choose personalise or properties then click on screen settings or resolution depending on which version of windows you are running.

using the dropdown box in the middle of the screen choose a setting which suits you , im guessing it is on 800x600 now choose 1024x768 this should make it better.

Look to see if that box has PIP--it may be engaged and if so a small picture in one of several places on the screen.

Hi, If your screen is small and you need to enlarge the screen again. You can go to tools option and you should be able to see the zoom option to enlarge the screen size.

If you have a monitor, you can test the graphcs by connecting it to the rear vga of the laptop. If you then get a picture it can be 1/ loose connection behind screen where the cable goes into the back of the screen. 2/ invertor needs replacing 3/ screen (unusual for screen to go unless it has a hair crack, but does happen.) Removing /replacing screen is easy enough, Generally-- there will be screws under some round sticky covers in all corners- perhaps more where catch is. Then there are screws on each side of the screen to release the screen from the hinge bars. The invertor is usually at the base of the screen and usually fixed by 2 small screws, and connected via small plugs with leads to screen/motherboard- It is rarely the screen cable, but this justs fits into rear of screen, and then will plug into the motherboard (often has a small earth lead fixing to base plate with small screw.
