It may be that you have a corrupt file in the print queue, a quick fix is possible - switch the power socket OFF, disconnect the PC/Network connections.
power on the printer, it should have had time to clear the memory now, see if the machine is able to print a menu page or config sheet ( open menu enter the information menu- print config sheet:)
if the printeris able to do thiswith no network connections you have eliminated the printer from the problem. next switch on and log into your PC, still disconnected from printer, open print queue and delete all documents from the queue ( your not deleting the files ( just the print requests)) once this is done then reconnect the printer and send first a windows test page ( confirm working connections first ) then attempt to print the failed file - if it fails in the same manner - the file was your problem.

My printer is saying paused and will not print

Hi
If you open Devices and Printers, right click on the menu that comes up and click on "See what's printing", a dialogue box should come up with a list of documents to be printed. In the second column is the status of each document. The first one in the queue will probably say "paused". Highlight this, click on the document menu and remove the tick against "pause" and the printing should restart.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers

JAM LABEL

1. Turn the printer on and make sure that the LCD display reads 'ON LINE'.
2. Press the PAUSE key once. [The display will read 'PAUSE'.]
3. Press and hold the PAUSE key until four or five labels feed forward.
NOTE: On some models, pressing the pause key will change the LCD display to 'TRANSMISSIVE'. If this happens, repeat step 3.
4. Press the RESTART key. The printer will go back ON LINE.
5. Open the print head and reposition your labels, so that they are ready for printing. Close the print head.
