I have a NuTone Convertible Range Hood (SL6200-R) and the the fan and light switchs are not working. Do you know if there is a solution for that? Thanks,Sergio from Riverside, CA
I would begin by checking the electrical panel as the circuit breaker or fuse that sends power to the hood may have kicked or blown. If that is not the problem open up the wiring box in the hood. It is unlikely that bvoth switches would have gone bad at once.

It sounds like your switch is getting stuck internally. It most likely needs to be replaced.

The Black 120vac Line In wire goes into "L". The Black wire goes into "2". The Red Wire goes into "3". When you install the switch, the Red and Black wires will be on top of the switch.
Did you ever find out what blew the fuse originally? Do the lights have a dimmer feature on them? If so, the reostsat may be bad, or the switch that controls the light intensity, 1,2,3. ect. Something caused the fuse to blow, maybe a wire on the bulb or switch somewhere.
