Better known as 'space saving' washing machines, they are a compromise at best.

Try presoaking the clothes overnight. Do longer programs. Try changing detergents. Wash twice.

You will need to check and see if the drain pump has something caught in it.

There are many things that can stop it from spinning....but the
first place to check is the belt. Is it loose or broken?

Sounds like the belt is either broken or slipped off,or the pulleys on the motor or basin are not turning. Most likely it will be the belt. If you can open the panel you should be able to see the problem. If it is the belt,you may find the part at any appliance shop and fix it yourself. If the pulleys are not turning the belt,there could be a few different reasons for this. You would have to look at them and find out why. They may be fixable but it would depend on the specific problem. If the machine is still under a warranty,it would be best to take it to the dealer.

That is meaningless. The important rule is to be sure the clothing you load in can float freely in the amount of water you give it, always use powdered detergent and the warmest water the colors involved will tolerate. Don't wash things that float, don't jam your comforters in your home machine....
