Green Light flashes when key is in. WONT GO !!!

  1. Check the battery: Make sure the battery is fully charged and properly connected to the scooter. If the battery is low, charge it fully before trying to use the scooter.
  2. Reset the controller: Turn off the scooter and disconnect the battery. Wait for a few minutes, then reconnect the battery and turn on the scooter. This should reset the controller and may fix the issue.
  3. Check the freewheel lever: If the freewheel lever is engaged, the scooter will not move. Make sure the freewheel lever is disengaged before trying to operate the scooter.
  4. Check the throttle: If the throttle is not working properly, the scooter will not move. Make sure the throttle is fully engaged and that there are no obstructions preventing it from moving.

Scooter with brushless wheel motor goes an 0.5 inch forward/backward oscillating about each second when throttle engaged - but does not do more than that. Scooter builder. Throttle engaged it won't do it...

hi, Most likely a motor output failure within the controller involving what we call mosfets components ... they are repairable, some things to note ,

Most likely its the controller however , check the battery voltage , what's happening when you apply the throttle , it could be loading the battery dropping below a certain voltage , not enough power to move the wheel. Best to use a meter here so you can measure the voltage of the battery. You can that by inserting the probes into the charger socket being careful that the probes don't touch.

Yam golf cart just clicks won't move!

Likely dirty contacts at the foot feed pedal AKA throttle pedal. The solenoid engages (clicks) but the dirty contacts keep the current from passing through to the electric motor.
1) disconnect battery, 2) Remove the pedal assembly and clean the contacts. 3) Reassemble and connect battery.

My 5horse tecumseth snow blower stalls when I engage the auger, just rebuilt the carb

Make sure your engines governor linkage is moving freely. It is the linkage that the throttle goes to on the engine and then a lever from that linkage goes back to the carb. The throttle cable works through the governor to adjust to changing loads. Your linkage connections may be crossed limiting throttle opening as well. Look online for a throttle linkage photo and compare. Be careful and good luck!

How to stop a continuing beep on my Cordoba scooter when I turn the key on? The scooter don't move at all.

Hi Mag,
I have this steps that might help you with beeping sound on your Scooter. Hope it helps.

UNIT LIGHTS UP/HORN WORKS BUT UNIT WILL NOT MOVE
Possible Cause:
  • This often occurs when the scooter is in free wheel mode and is not in drive mode. Re-Engage the free wheel lever which is located down near the rear wheels (normally a yellow or red lever).
  • If you hear a beeping noise, the beeping you hear is a fault beep indicating the scooter main control box has detected a problem. Contact your dealer who can diagnose the beep code.
  • Check batteries with load tester - If either battery drops more than 1 volt under a load, the battery(s) are bad. Replace "both" batteries.

I also find these additional steps on how to know beep alarm indicators:

This main control box has a self-diagnostics feature & cannot be tested with a volt meter. When a
problem is present the main control box will diagnose the fault, prohibit the scooter from being driven
and sound an alert beep. Each alert beep indicates a different issue which helps to determining the
problem by narrowing the fault into one of a few main areas of the scooter. Reference this information
below for the alert beep indications.

Very Rapid beep- Batteries are low. Charge & test batteries.
Medium Fast beep- Motor/brake wiring fault. Free wheel lever disengaged.
Solid beep- The charger is plugged into the scooter (some models may vary).
Very Slow beep- The throttle pot was not at center when you turned the unit on. Throttle pot off
center or wiring (yellow & orange wires) fault.

1 flash The battery needs charging or there is a bad connection to the battery. Check the connections to the battery or charge batteries.
2 flashes There is a bad connection to the motor.
Check all connections between the motor and the controller.
3 flashes The motor has a short circuit to a battery connection.
4 flashes Freewheel is engaged.
5 flashes Not used.
6 flashes The controller is being inhibited from driving; this may be because the battery charger is connected.
7 flashes A throttle fault is indicated. Make sure that the throttle is in the rest position before switching on the scooter
8 flashes A controller fault is indicated. Make sure the controller connections are secure.
9 flashes The parking brakes have a bad connection. Check the parking brake and motor connections. Make sure the controller connections are secure.

Count the number

An excessive voltage has been applied
to the controller. This is usually caused

Battery power on mobility scooter

Most scooters show a drop on the battery level meter when in use, as long as it is`nt slowing down it should`nt be a prob. I mean, when you engage the throttle you ARE putting a load on the batteries,so it`s only par for the course that the indicator would drop a bit.

A fully charged battery should be over 12 volts. You may need to change your batteries.
