The display screen is not showing anything on ny Mbb-218 boat radio,why

Type " Crosley CR248 user manual " into search engine and it will show sites to get manual. Some radios have 2 fuses in them. I could be blown. If you attempt to check the fuses... UNPLUG RADIO !!!!!!

Hold the 'Clock' button until the display flashes. It will first show the year, next press on 'Clock' with show the month, then the day, then the time. Use + and - to set your time and press 'Clock' again.

Don't expect this clock to set the time by itself. It is not an atomic clock.

Do you have a remote unit? If yes unplug it. The black din plug at the back of the unit on the right. See if that does anything

What you'll actually need in order to get Sirius is a satellite specific receiver (the JBL SIR 2.5 Satellite Receiver). That should come with the antenna you need.

I cannot help you brighten the screen but I have a similar problem with my camera when I tape graduations and ball games. I have come up with a solution for me that can work for you as well. What I did was I made a small shade to put over it that works like an umbrella and makes it easy to read. See below \/

If done so that the top and sides cast shade on the radio, you can clearly see the screen even in the sun.

I have the exact same problem. When I was in NY last fall, suddenly my camera would only take blurry pictures. I hadn't changed any settings or anything. I can get halfway decent pictures in Auto mode, but any of the other settings only take blurry pictures. Apparently a lot of people have this problem, but no one knows how to solve it...

The mikes are easy. Generally the wire gets disconnected - so you can either buy a new wire connector or have it soldered - very easy job. Not sure about the screen display problem - good luck
