Condenser fan error - Samsung RB215LASH

check and test fan for failure or icing

Metalfrio beverage cooler throwing off a 77 error code,
I checked evaporator fan and it is running.
I see line coming to evaporator coil is cooling but. Evaporator Fan is running but Refrigrator is not cooling down.

Check to see if condenser fan (condenser is the outdoor unit) is spinning freely

Check whether the AC is on fan mode. There are two mode for this type. FAN and AC mode. Put it to AC mode and set the temperature. Solved!! :)

If it doesn't work, call the AC repair guy.
1) Either there will be error with the capacitor circuit which triggers the condenser.
2) there is an issue with your condenser and the circuit.

This is a small repair.

The fan is almost certainly run by a sensor in the condenser. If it doesn't get hot enough, the fan doesn't run. Sounds like short of gas. Try wiring the fan to the compressor live and see if it runs all the time then.

You did not mention if the compressor ran when you depressed the contactor. The condenser fan is tied into the compressor wiring so if the compressor runs, so does the condenser fan. That is unless you have a winter kit in it which allows the condenser fan only to operate once it hits a certain temp. If you are getting error codes, I would say you have low refrigerant.

F-6 High discharge coil temp. due toover charged /condenser coil blockage/less rpm of fan motor in outdoor/non-condensate gas.

Purge out over charged gas/clean condenser coil/Replace fan capacitor./Releaseall gas and flush out the system,replace filter drier and vacuum & do gascharging.

E5 Outdoor activation of compressor over heatprotection or motor lock
Compressor overheated due to condenser block or fan motor lock. Clean condenser/replace out door fan capacitor.

E3 Outdoor activation of high pressure switch. Due to over charged gas/condenser block/less rpm fan motor.
If overcharged release the over charged gas./clean condenser/replace fan capacitor.

Check to see if you have 220 to unit. May have bad breaker. Only feeding one leg. Rusty
