You have cooked the engine, you can try replacing the radiator and the sending unit for the fan but you most likely destroyed both. unhook the fan and try it. if it does not bubble after 3 minutes then you may be ok but if if shoots water out of the cap then your thermostat is bad or you have a blown head gasket.

Drained radiator added prestone Radiator flush refilled and started overheating, drained radiator replaced thermostat and now I get no heat from heater,Radiator water is hot

disconnect the heat hoses going into fire wall , put hose into one with pressure and flush as it sounds like it could be bloked in the heater core, the other thing that could be the problem be the hot ,cold switch as it restricts the flow to makes the heater hoter or colder , it might need tlc or replacing as it is manaul not elec

Ran hot put thermostat in/ ran without running hot then water looked like it was coming from where fan was located is it shot or just radiator/ water pump what

you may have a leak in your radiator,, you can have them pressure checked . I'd do that first , by put thermostat in, I'm assuming you meant you replaced the one that was in there to begin with, if thats the case, make sure you replaced it with the correct temp rating for your car ,

My 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo is running hot, should I believe it is the water pump? I still have heat.

Yes a bad water pump will definitely cause it to run hot. you'll probably be able to hear it as well as a whinning noise from the front of the engine. Also check for really low or incorrect fluid. jeeps are know for bad water pumps and leaky radiators. the heater pump is a seperate pump from the water pump. Also check for radiator fan opperation while the vehicle is stopped. If the fan is not coming on, it could be a fuse, relay, or intake air temp sensor.

Jeep keeps overheating have replaced fan and sensor

you need to check your car for back pressure, get a clear bottle filled with water. while engine is running put the small hose from the radiator going to the reserve and put it in the bottle. if you see bubbles going out from the hose then you have to change your cylinder head gasket replaced.

Temperature gage has fluctuates between 100 and 260, the water is full and fan seems to be working ok, and all belts seems to be ok.

You need to verify that the gage is accurate, if it is then the cause is the thermostat, but check the gage first, a repair shop can do this or you can feel the air coming off the radiator fan, if it is really hot changing to cool rapidly then the T-Stat is sticking open.

Radiator fan for 2001 Jeep Cherokee

Had this problem and one thing that even Chilton manuals only show in fine print sorta say is that Jeep cherokee has a relay sensor for the coolant fan usualy right behind the passenger or driver side headlight you may have to remove the bumper also its rather easy. Its a liitle black box thats screwd down on the panel just unscrew it unplug it replace mine ran me around $60.00.Before I learned about this after replacing the thermostate and just about to rip out the water pump my buddy told me about the sensor after replacing over a year ago no problems.
