if it broke apart when it hit the floor then you will have more problems than just putting the blades back on. those are fairly well put together so coming apart means they hit pretty hard. you wont ever get them to cut right even if they go back together. your gunna have to just buy new ones.

well the smaller blade sits on plastic piece that is coming out of the clipper, having the inside of blade towards you. then larger blade ,the inside of that faces smaller blade,and align them to where you can see smaller teeth thru larger ones put screw back in and tighten. then oil them.

Spring Tension
Place Socket on Spring Tension like this
Slide Socket back as shown in picture
Turn Socket & Spring Tension over Make sure Socket is slide back
This is Call a Blade Guide Make sure the blade Guide is on the Spring Tension
Make sure blade guide is on like picture above, Now place Socket & Spring aside
The comb Blade Place comb blade as picture above
Place cutter blade as picture above, making sure cutter blade smaller blade is on the comb blade Rail.
Hold the blade like this Finger on top and Thumb on the bottom
Turn blade over like this while still holding the blade together
Place screw as shown
Screw in the screw don't tighten leave loose.
Now that you have the 2 screw in and not tight place the blade like this You need to hold the blade with one hand and with your Philips screw driver tap the cutter blade back lightly until the cutter teeth are 2/32 back from the comb blade.
the cutter blade which is the smaller blade is back 2/32 from the comb blade which is the bigger blade. When this is done by holding the blade together with your finger & Thumb
Tighten the 2 screws tight
Your blade should look like this when done correctly

First put the bigger of the two blades witht the size/number facing down, put the cutter on top. (with the side with the flat side of the teeth facing down) Then put the tongue guide inside the tension spring, make sure the tension spring rail is on the tension rail and place them on top of the cutter. This picture whows the front and back, it differs slightly from your blade, but its same meat different gravy!

Hold all this together with your finger and thumb, flip it over and scre the whole lot together!

First thing about Detachable clipper blade are Tension and straightness, You need a special tool to set the tension on your blade and the spec's on how much tension, plus you need to set the straightness of the tension spring. With out these tools your blade will not cut, even if some body sharpens the blade and do not set the tension correctly and straightness. For Remington clippers, the smaller blade has a groove which matches a beveled edge on the trimmer body. Line it up, align the larger blade to its screw holes, insert and fasten screws until tight, and you're good to go. Oh yeah, and try to center the small blade.

the blades are stuck , i spray my trimmer with wd40 before every use to keep them juicy you should too. also sometimes if you hit a large stick it will put a divot in the blade cause ing it to stick. as for putting it together, find some one who can do it without directions. but when you use them next make sure you soak em good with wd40 or something if you dont i guarantee they will always stick. wd40 willl not hurt any shrubbery, as ive been doing it for years.
