Question about Dryers
After I installed my Harbor Breeze remote unit, I cannot get the ceiling cap to fit. I checked the orientation of the remote unit, and it is correct. Any ideas?
That's a cheap store brand fan. I won't even install one anymore because they're missing parts half the time & they don't give good air flow. If you have the receiver all the way in the hanging bracket, the canapy cover should fit. Is the electricial box even with the ceiling or is it up higher?

SOURCE: harbor breeze ceiling fan
Your voltage is probably too low, probably a bad wire or source. Let me know if it worked.
Or take a look at the link given here... http://www.ceiling-fan-wizard.com/harbor-breeze-ceiling-fans.html

One black wire on the switch hooked to the black sources wire. The other black wire on the switch hooked black up to the fan. The green on the switch wire goes to the bare wire. If there is bare wire you can use the white wire.

You should be able to pick these up at Lowes if I'm not mistaken. I just bought a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan from there and saw the light kits around the same area. I also believe that, you dont necessarily have to get a Harbor Breeze light kit and that some are interchangeable.Hope this helps some.
