The camera is not a stand alone system. It is designed to work with the rest of the surveillance system, in this case the Uniden UDW10003 and UDW20055 Video Surveillance Systems. The surveillance system has software for reviewing footage and that software is clearly for a PC rather than a phone. The service department may be able to advise you further regarding the tablet, given there is a wireless feature to the surveillance system.
You would probably be best off buying another monitor from Uniden. The system is a proprietary system made to control the operation. Uniden is the only one that can answer if there program you can use on a laptop.
I am not aware that Uniden survellience systems pair with cameras other than a Uniden camera. Please provide model number of your Uniden system to help with a solution to your problem. I understand that GE Add-On Wireless Digital Color Camera 45256 will work only with a GE security system like Ge 45255
Uniden cameras need to pair with Uniden radio recievers. The reciever is connected to your PC via a USB cord.
You can go to the UNIDEN web site and by knowing which camera you have find the receiver that is correct for you
You need to hook this unit up to a computer to record and install the optional software that came with it....you can then set up record times, intervals, etc...

The only solution I have found is using Remote Desktop Connection and running the Uniden application. On my Iphone I found that using Pocket Cloud Remote Desktop (RDP Itunes download application) works best. You must also download a free application named "Pocket Cloud Companion" on the PC your Uniden software is running. Pocket Cloud Companion must be running for connection to made through 3G, Edge or Wifi networks. Also, you have to configure your remote connections by using your PC's IP address rather then the name of your pc, particularly if making connection on 3G network.
