Car charger is not working

1) you must test the charger AC for DVD PLAYER, if working try to put in another DVD player, you must use the Vom FOR to measure the output voltage dc.or replace the charger.
2) if you are using batteries change batteries, clean the contacts batteries, with contacts cleaners, retight the spring contacts batteries for a good contacts.
3) if doesnot work, the problem is the power supply the trafo, filter, diode zener, bridge diodes, IC regulator voltage. etc. go to the repair shop TV for fix it.

Try taking the battery out than plug in the charger to see if it turns on. if this works than you have a bad battery but if this doesn't not work than you have either a broken on switch, ur charger is not working, or you shot the whole thing and it needs to be replaced.

Well first of all tell me is your player works with charger or it never works..? If your player work with charger and not in battery mode then you need to change the battery in your player. if this not work with charger then may be the charger is bad and do not allow to charge the battery and never works...... Please reply for more help or information.....

I have this model dvd player and it has worked very well for over a year. Lately it has not had a picture but has had sound when fully charged. When the green light is on, it is charging. When the light goes off, it is fully charged (or should be). I plugged the wall charger directly into the dvd player and it works fine with pic and sound. I think maybe the rechargable battery is on it last legs. I am looking for a longer cig lighter charger cord to reach the headrest so kids can watch from backseat. I will be able to keep it plugged in to charger at all times. Hope this helps!

no, i did the same thing and they work fine on the home charger but i cannot find a real car charger for this. i used the universal one and that is what probably burned. check your home adapter. bad thing is is that these do not have batteries so we NEED the adapter that i cannot find!

I could sell you my battery since my player no longer works. The battery is still good as far as I know.
