Mp3 player what is the reformatting procedure for my SanDisk c250

    i don't have the same device, but a simiular problem. my mp3 player is telling me to refomatt it. i can't delete or add any songs.

    My Sansa e250r is having a problem my freind has the e200 and at his place we put some songs from his computer on my mp3 and they don't show up on my player but they show up on the computer as being put in. What do I do? My dad and I are going to try and reformat if we can figure it out we made copies of all thesongs and put them in a folder but we can't figure out how to reformat it any info please help.

Says that memory is being used and it is not


Upgrade the firmware - it is a workaround. Available from Sandisks' website.

Reformatting songs/mp3 player


The Sandisk site says that your dad's device should play .wav, .mp3 and .wma files. Has the player EVER worked? I got a C250 for my wife as a Christmas present and my computer recognized but refused to communicate with it UNTIL I DOWNLOADED AND INSTALLED THE FIRMWARE UPDATE. The player was a paperweight until then. It turned on and played the demo files pre-loaded on it, but I couldn't transfer a single file into it. Just a thought. Here's the link:

Songs within songs; how can I reformat?


Go to main menu>settings on the player. There is a option to reformat there.
