E024 developing assembly connector disconnection fault..this is what it is saying on the internet.

The first thing I tend to do with any fault on a computer or related hardware, is to turn it off, unplug it from the power supply, turn off and unplug the rest of the system components. Wait for a few minutes, plug the equipment back in and turn all components on and then reboot the computer.
If you have already done all this then I suspect that from the error code your machine is a Canon in the iR range. For the purpose of a reply I have used the iR2270, but the error code can occur on other models.
Description:- The developing assembly connector is disconnected.
The connection detection signal is absent continuously for 100 msec.
Remedy:- Replace the developing assembly toner sensor. Connect the connector. Replace the DC controller PCB.

the developing assembly connector is disconnected, that means the sensor of the developer is not functioning.
make sure there is no toner blocking it, if cleaning does not solve that, then replace the sensor or the developer.

u can do this steps : Disconnection of the wire used for detecting the connection of the
toner level sensor is found.
When the disconnection of the wire used for detecting the connection
of the toner level sensor has been detected for 7.5 min without
interruption (12.5 min in the manual /envelop cassette feeding).
When the disconnection of the wire used for detecting the connection
of the toner level sensor has been detected for 12.5 min without
interruption
if it is problamatic you have to replace sensor.

Correct the cable. Replace the sensor.


TRY THIS:

Remove toner and check for broken parts on tube, check the connection of toner assy, reconect all connectors on dc controller pcb.

If you removed the toner assy before the error occcured check if all connectors are properly inserted.
