I have a Toshiba Satellite® M105-S3041 and my toddler spilled juice on the keyboard and now it won't turn on. When I plug it in, the battery charges, and the blue power light comes on, but the screen...

Most likely you are going to need a motherboard, depending on the model, under the keyboard is the palm rest assembly...most of these have many opening in them that will allow fluid to get directly to the motherboard and they do not do well with liquid spilled on them when they are energized. Below is the link to the service guide for that model. I usually get my mobos on Ebay, but there are other sellers to grab one from.

My Toshiba Satellite Laptop M105-s3004 Crash and fan not running

Because the fan doesn't work, your laptop is overheating and going into thermal shutdown. have the fan replaced and the area where it is screwed to cleaned as it harbours dust over time preventing adequate cooling.

Toshiba Satellite M105-S3041 clock problem

Chances are your CMOS battery is dead, it can be replaced inexpensively if you do it yourself. After taking the laptop apart, locate the battery, it looks like a large watch battery. When you remove it, note the battery type and run to your nearest battery store for a replacement.

Memory slot #2 in the Toshiba Satellite M105 - S3074

The second memory chip is directly under the keyboard. you need to gently pry off the plastic cover above the keyboad that has the speaker grid on it. under there you will find the screws to remove the keyboard and then under the keyboard you will find the additional chip. I maxed mine out with 4gb. but since I'm only running 32 bit it only uses 3gb. If your gonna upgrade be sure to do it in pairs.

Want to upgrade my memory on my Toshiba Satellite M105-3004

http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba-Satellite-M105/take-apart-notebook-2.htm

It is buried deep in the computer. This will show you where it is and how to get to it. The one stick is very easy but to get to the other, you have to go through the keyboard. The second piece is removed on the second page. If this takes care of the problem, make sure to give me the fixya. :) If you still need help, post a comment and I will get back to you very soon. Thanks.
