Sanyo z2000 blue polarizer is burnt out

what about the Projector Condition leds: POWER, WARNING and LAMP REPLACE? How are they lit? For good measure you should also clean the air filter (the projector might not be getting enough air to cool the lamp)

The blue polarizer is most likely burnt due to much use

It is possibly the blue LCD panel is damaged due to excessive heat from old lamps or poor air flow,

the excessive heat and lack of airflow may have caused another problem. can you get into the menu? if you can, try resetting the settings to factory default.

clean the entire optics of your projector and the LCD Module use glass cloth.

If this is an LCD, it could be a torn ribbon cable on the red Opitical filter. It's a pain to get to and replace. It could also be a burnt Polarized glass filter on the red channel which is a little easier to replace. Check out www.pacparts.com for parts and prices. It may not be worth repairing.

You didn't put your 3-D glasses on backwards, did you? :)

Seriously, if you are using the component inputs, be sure the three cables didn't get mixed up when you put the projector back. Otherwise, you might have an issue with the color wheel inside the projector, but I doubt it.

see the dealer. its a new unit so they must sort the problem

swounds like a default setting has been changed .. Try finding in the manual how to do a master reset to factory defaults
