Ok yeah mine says V2410US. I did that and i found the driver. Well I think i did, i went under Driver - Network I chose Intel PRO/Wireless Drivers that one looked more convincing. Ok so im not sure if i should download it because im using my desktop right now and i need the driver for my laptop. Do i download it anyway?

Yup, you need to drivers to do so....

On the bottom of the laptop you should be able to find your specific model/product number.

Visit this link - http://h18000.www1.hp.com/cpq_support.html

Under SELECT TASK, choose software and driver downloads... then enter that number in the box below that. This will list the drivers specific to your notebook. I'd look for you to see if they were listed, but obviously I dont have your product number.

If you have allready tried this, and couldnt find it, please reply with your product/model number. And I will find it for you or give you further instruction.

Also, please dont vote yet until the problem has been solved... thanx and let me know if this works for you.

You need the number off the bottom of the laptop. It will be something like V2010US or V2022AP ... it may not be that exact number but it will look similar. And be on a sticker on the bottom of the laptop.

Take that number and use it as I explained in my last reply. It's quite simple. Click that link above.... #1 choose drivers and downloads and #2 enter your number in the empty box... click the arrow to the right of the box... then choose your operating system on the next page that comes up... drivers will be listed according to category. In the network section of the list you will find the wireless drivers.

if you want, you can download onto your desktop... dont install it on your desktop though... and then burn it off onto a cd, and put that cd into your laptop and install it on your laptop.

Toshiba satellite s2652 internet connection problems

You have wiped all drivers by formatting and need to go to friends PC / download latest drivers for the exact model laptop from the vendors site and install them.

NB = install mobo driver FIRST.

Best thing about drivers on the net is that they are later than the ones with the laptop from new.

Hi, I have an IBM R51 Type 2887 Thinkpad that came with Windows XP Home edition. I formatted the laptop and put the Windows XP Professional in it. However, it could not install few key drivers (Eg. CD ROM,...

You need to access a computer that is connected to the Internet, (try going to a friend or work mate or nternet cafe etc.)

Go to the IBM/Lenovo WEB site - support/download page and download the latest Windows XP audio driver for your model laptop,
www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-39956.html

Copy the downloaded files and install them on your computer.

Had to format acer laptop 13680 and now cant find the wire less network adaptor

got to the acer website and download the driver for the wireless network adapter, if you have any disks you may already have it. You of course will have to use another computer or a differetn connection, all you need is the driver, heck use a friends computer if you have to and save it to a portable drive or something.
