Question about American Standard Home
We just installed an American Standard Marquette Shower head and valve. When we turned the water back on for the house, the water came out of the shower head then slowly reduced to a drip. When turning the handle, nothing happens. The showerhead continues to just drip. This is a pressure balancing unit. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you!
I think fitting of your shower is not proper. You have to fit it properly if you can or you can call a nearest Plumber to solve your problem.

All you should need to do is remove the shower head and make sure that their isnt any dirt obstructing the opening ,also if their is a restrictor like you said you need to remove it.This should make a big difference.

sometimes there are orings or gaskets that get tore in assembly one of those may be bad,or if it is around the threds you might try wraping teflon tape around the thred once or twice.hope this helps

I had the same problem, you need to shut off your valves and remove the handle that turns the water on and off. You need to turn the chrome front piece counter clockwise to remove it from the front of the unit. Pull the ball out and you should see 2 rubber o-rings with springs inside. My guess is that you have a bad o-ring that should be replaced. After you buy the kit from your local Home Depot, Lowes etc, you install the pieces the same way you removed them!
