Im trying to get my lg spectrum smart phone to go to net10 plan from verizon wireless. need help..
Net10 is a GSM company, which means that the phones that use must have a SIM card. Verizon, on the other hand, is a CDMA wireless carrier, which mean that there is no need for a SIM card in order to work. Verizon and Sprint are starting now to use mini-SIM for some of their CDMA phones or Google phones, (early stages).
Your best option now is to visit a Net10 retailer and asks them this very same question. But I seriously doubt that you can get it to work with Net10.
Net10 use the signals from AT&T, T-Mobile, (Sprint and Verizon when roaming).

please be sure to back up all your information on an SD card as well as download backup assistance for your contacts.
this has happend to a lot of peoples phones and the issue does not always just stay away! be careful...
you may also contact vzw for a replacement phone if it is still under warranty
SOURCE: lg vx8300 wont turn on passed where it says
i am sorry but your phone is what they call "fried"
you can take it to the verizon sstore and they can attempt to flash it with software (for free, no need to buy cables) but this does not always save the information
hopefully your phone has the extended warranty, and will allow you to replace it for free... as this was my favorite phone ever carried by verizon (aside from the motorola startac of course)
please remember to always use backup assistance for your contactsand to save your information on a memory card so that you do not lose important information
