take it back they have to replace it,they either have a 60-90 day warrenty also see if battery cables are tight.if you have a chrger see if battery holds a charge.

Since the battery and charger are new and yet it does not still hold charge.
Have put the battery in another similar phone and try to charge with your charger to see if it will hold charge? if you have.
It means the charging port of your phone is bad and you will need to replace it.
The charger is not charging the battery in anyway because the charging port is bad, so just change your charging port, your phone will now hold charge.
It's never a good idea to ship a scanner (or anything else) with the batteries installed, as you never know what the package might experience enroute. About all you can do is replace the rechargeables with fresh NiMH batteries. If they don't take or hold a good charge you need to contact the company that "fixed" the scanner. BillB
try the old battery if you still have it then see if it holds a slight bit more once charged.If it does then go back to the seller of the new battery for a replacement.
what you have to do is to clean your phone using isoprophyl alcohol i mean you clean the main mother board then you dry it using hair dryer ,after all that try to replace the battery it has reach it death neal the cells inside they are no longer able to hold the charge.advice by dogy.
