TV Image not bright enough

I have lost my owners manual due to Hurricane Katrina.  The best way to describe my problem is it seems my one of the light bulbs went out in the TV.  The picture is just not bright enough.  On scenes that are dark the TV is really really dark.  Can you change or replace a light bulb in this TV?

I'm not sure if my answer will help much, but it is free. My experieence with this site is that without paying for premium service, you won't get much help.
I had a similar problem with a different model Panasonic projection set.I got no answer on this site, but I did from an outside repairman.
Turn your color all the way down. If it looks black and white it is probably not a bulb problem. If you see a tint (blue, green, red) over the screen, it probably is a weak bulb.
The entire bottom front of my model was held on by velco and could be pulled off.
Behind this was a removable black panel. Behind this were adjustment screws for the three bulbs. This will probably only help temporarily if the bulbs continue to weaken, but it might buy you some time as the replacement bulbs are quite expensive. Good Luck

Hi, I seem to have a problem with my Finepix Z1 digital camera. When I take a shot it seems to work ok, and the initial review image seems fine as well. But when I go back and review the image on the...

The clue is with the video.
The video function does not use the shutter. Lines on photo's or over exposure is due to the shutter not closing completely over the lens when you take a picture.
It will require cleaning which means opening up your camera and accessing the lens unit

Generator will not generate electricity.

I assume it is a hand start genset. The most common problem if it has been sat for a while is rust on the ignition timing flywheel. If you take the pullcord housing off (recoil) then you will see a big flywheel with what can only be described as a big forked prong with a couple of wires on it. This flywheel should be stainless steel and rusts when sat around for a while without use. Its job is to complete the circuit to the spark plug every time the flywheel passes the forked prong at a given spot on the flywheel, the faster the wheel turns the faster the spark hence the engine runs quicker. Clean the rust off with a releasing agent (wd 40) hey presto!!!!!!!!!!!

Power surge

If your not a technician with tv repair experience, I would HIGHLY advise against that as theres high voltage in these sets even if they have been unplugged for awhile. Enough to kill ya. First thing though that comes to mind would be the STR##### regulator IC in the main power supply. That usually goes bad when a surge happens. But call a pro, Bro. Good Luck
