Question about Philips 17PF9945 17 in. LCD HDTV

My power does not come on at all or if i unpluge it sometimes it works and some times it dont.

The TV is in some kind of protection mode, the blinking LED show you an error code.
Try pressing 062596 and then press menu button (do these in quick motion, don't let them to time out while keying)...see what happens
I also heard that this problem appeared with some people because the of the burnt fuse in the TV. To fix that it has to be taken to the tech shop. 17 inch hdtv - mecry.gif
And yes I also heard about this issue many times, seems like this TV set is very popular with this kind of problem.

i have seen this before and sorryy to say if unplugging for 5 or more min and that dose not fix it may need to be replaced not many people fix them these days but not impossable

Try setting back to factory default
Power off tv
Unplug power cord to wall
wait approx 10 minutes
Plug cord back in
power on tv main menu will appear follow on on-screen instructions to reprogram.

How do you do a master reset on a 42 inch LG plasma TV?


unplug the tv and let stay unplugged for at least 24 hrs then try it if that dont work then it sounds like a power board issue

The deflection board will ned to be replaced. You can get replacement deflection boards from www.tvrepairworld.com they will help assist that you get the correct board for your model.

Check the buttons on the front keyboard panel. Try cleaning them if that's no help replace the panel or the buttons.

Tv powers on, but turns off after a few min


somone with some sort of tv knowledge told me that sometimes people dont realize t but moisture builds up inside and it needs to be dried back out

Power switches off


Try changing refresh rate or resolution. You might be using one that your screen can't work with. good luck
