That model appears to be for the Japanese market and only comes in Japanese language. You could try contacting Clarion to see if there is a firmware update.
You may be able to utilize your cell phone along with a language translator app in order to read and convert the Japanese language to English, allowing you to step through the device menu and change the language.

most electronics come with several choices, the difficult is as you say it's in japanese. if there is a menu window then slowly go through seeking the word english you might be lucky and it shows you can but try , click and see result. if gorgeous female steps out may i have first refusal. lol. good luck

I know this is an older post, however for others looking for this answer, you may be able to download a language app to your phone allowing the translation from Japanese to English. Then you may be able to click through the language menu.
