Wil not print, Red light with exclaimation point in triangle flashes

Printer warms up like it is about to print but nothing happens. Red light with exclaimation point in triangle flashes and printer beeps intermittently. Unplugging and resetting printer does not solve the problem. Toner is a new genuine Samsung toner.

You might have a paper jam ... For a most accurate diagnosis you might use control panel app from samsung website

This light is indeed designed to indicate a low toner condition. Its coming on is triggered not by the actual level of toner in the cartridge, but by a software process that estimates toner use. If you are inclined to refill your own cartridges, you can use install a glass fuse in the little clip on the back of the toner cartridge that will reset the counter, and turn out the light, otherwise the light will stay on. The reset process will blow the fuse, so a new fuse is needed each time a cartridge is refilled. Leaving the light lit does not hinder the operation of the printer, so as long as there is still sufficient toner to print, the printer will operate normally.

dis is quite common problem..don't panic..
did u change / replace the cartridge with original spare or refilled it??
this kind of problem often follows with an unbranded cartridge change and or refilling..!!
least chance of the defective cartridge itself causing such problem..!!
however always try to use genuine refill packs/toner..
..contact ur system admin/vendor....

Your toner chip page counter has to be reached on last point (run out). Normally one OEM toner cartridge chip can print 2.5k pages, after that cartridge has been locked (although it's remain toner) and red light will be blinking. There are actually some certain meaning on the red light and green light showing different information to user. The summaries are:
1) Green On, Red Off = Printer Ready.
2) Green Fast-Flashing, Red Fast-Flashing = Printer warm up.
3) Green Fast-Flashing, Red Off = Printer off-line.
4) Green Slow-Flashing, Red Off = Processing Data.
5) Green Off, Red On = Cover Opened, Toner Empty or Developer Unit / Drum unit missing.
6) Green Off, Red Fast-Flashing = Paper Jam or waiting for jam reset.
7) Green Off, Red Slow-Flashing = Paper Empty or Paper tray is not inserted.
8) Green Off, Red Off = Printer power is off.
9) Green Very-Slow-Flashing, Red Off = Printer in sleep mode.
10) Green (any condition above), Red Slow-Flashing = Toner low or paper empty.

So what is your printer condition? Better know what is going on your printer so can solve the problem.

I thought my printer died on me, but it turned out it was a simple paper jam. The whole printer just locked up because of a paper jam! All I had to do was open the top compartment, remove the toner and get rid of the paper jam

Flashing light

Here is what HP has on the subject of the triangle light flashing:

1 - Attention Light 2 - Ready Light 3 - Go Light Figure 2: Printer light key

1 - Symbol for light off 2 - Symbol for light on 3 - Symbol for light blinking

Door open, media out, no print cartridge, or media jam

The printer is in an error state that requires operator intervention or help. Check the following:

The print cartridge door is completely closed.
Media is loaded.
The print cartridge is correctly installed in the printer.
There is no media jam.

The Attention LED is blinking. Check paper loading then open and close top cover.

When there is a jam in tray 1, verify the paper is loaded correctly, open and close the top cover. Pressing GO is ignored.

When there is a jam in tray X, verify the paper is loaded correctly, open and close the top cover. Pressing GO is ignored. These are the error explanations for just the flashing triangle light, there are many more, but none for just the flashing triangle.

If the light pattern is different let me know (other lights on as well)

Stuck on Red

Normally mean fatal error on this machine you can hold the go button down for a couple of seconds and it might give you a secondary light sequence. Normally if the red light is on and nothing happens the most common fault is the fuser unit is not warming up.

You will have to replace the fuser unit, but this all depends on the second light sequence.
