Sorry you are having an issue. Have you tried another charger? If so and it still doesn't work. CONTACT US . If you have proof of purchase that it was purchased new less than year ago then we'll replace it.
sounds like a loose connection in the power transfer, some piece of metal may be broken or the cord itself may be damaged in some place, you could try replacing the cord. I would just go and buy a new iron. They aren't all that expensive anymore. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. I hope you solve your problem. If you want any further help or have any other questions, please let me know, otherwise have a Good Day.

I recently fixed my 955 headphones... it's probably not going to be attempted by most folks, but it saved a great set of headphones from being tossed and replaced.
Basically you need to remove the right side padding and take out the 3 screws. This gets you access to the battery. The battery is a standard 3.6V lithium battery. Pretty much the same that is in most cell phones and many small toys. You can simply replace the battery with something like: http://dx.com/s/3.7v+li
Or... here's what I did... add a lithium USB charger to the battery. http://dx.com/s/li+arduino Now, if the battery dies I can plug it into USB and the phone will work while it charges.
Normally if you have a VXi, B250-XT on its charger and you are seeing both a Green and Red light the headset is changin over from charging to fully charged. The headset is designed to be able to use while it is on the charger however once you place it on the charger you must turn it on to reconnect to your phone before you can do this. Put the headset on and press the Multifunction Button for 2 to 3 seconds, you should hear two rising tones and the headset should reconnect with your phone. Note* your phone may require you to accept the connection request. If the headset will not turn on either on or off the charger I recommend calling VXi at 800-742-8588 for warranty repair information. A headset that will not turn on indicates the unit is having an issue with one of its control circuits.
Had the same problem. Light just flashed blue and red. I decided to put the headset on the charger while it was flashing and after about 30mins of being left on the charger it started working normally again. Hope this works for you.
It sounds like it may be defective, not sure if that is correct. Try a
different plug and make sure that it is secure in the charging end. If this
is defective, then you should be able to return to retail place of
purchase and get a replacement if still under warranty.
I had the same problem. Red light would be on for a second, then nothing. This sounds like the dumbest, most obvious thing, but I started playing with the connections. Assumed it was the two contacts inside the box not touching, but that wasn't it. Finally wiggled the charger plug that goes into the hole in the box, and when I pushed it in really hard, tada, the red light went on and stayed. I still have to jam the plug in for it to work, but it charges the headset fine now. Must be a design flaw. If your unit is still under warranty, you might try to get a new charger with a better plug fit, if your problem is similar to mine.
