I have had the game for 3/4 weeks now and it ran perfectly at first but 2 days ago i started it up and the background didnt load up, it just said "loading" in the bottom left of the screen and never loaded up. I could still navigate through the game, just there was no background picture. I could play matches perfecly as well, however if I went on any of the tables nothing would show up and I couldn't navigate from that screen-the game hadn't frozen, i could use the widgets and quit the game normally, but couldn't go back-this became a problem in manager mode.
I have done a full system scan and scanned the game for viruses and nothing showed up.

this kept happening to me all my games either would not load or would freeze about an hour in or less just take it back to where you got it from and they should replace it most places give at least 30 day guarantee and some give 1 year+
Think this might be due to a corrupt game save, as I tried starting the game from the 'press start' command with the second controller, so I didn't login as my gamertag, and all was well. I'm waiting to see if this is the case though before I go deleting gamesaves...
fable too wont work for me and i dont know why about that . try taking your xbox apart by looking it up at www.youtube.com it will bring you through the steps and it should be working. if not buy a new xbox wo hard drive.
1. Delete your gamer profile from your hard drive or memory card and recover it through XBox LIVE. 2. Delete your FIFA 09 saved data from your hard drive or memory card. 3. Start FIFA, change FIFA language to any other language but danish or english. 4. Save. 5. Start fifa again and change back to your language.
Ok then you basically answered your own question. The problem is with your game Fifa 09. You should try to exchange it with another copy which you should be able to do without much of a problem. Just explain to them the situation they have to replace it. Take it back.
