I had this problem a few days ago actually. your computer, especially because its a laptop could be overheated. this could have killed your CPU(central power unit) inside of your computer. I would just wait about three days or so after keeping it in a moderate temperature and then try to turn it back on again. Thats what I did and as you can tell min is Working!
please rate my answer I would really appreciate it!

Hi Keith, i would suggest contacting Medion as this appears to be a faulty mainboard, but you could try checking the obvious (ac adapter fuse) and the ac adapter could be faulty, can you check on other equipment, if out of warranty then you may have to take to a good local tech.
If the power light does not come on and it makes a screeching noise, most likely its broken. I would contact the manufacturor, in case some warranty left.
1. Take the battery out of the laptop & try to turn on the laptop using power adapter only. If the computer turns on, then the battery is defective & needs to be replaced. 2. Make sure the power adapter is not defective. Test the output voltage of the power adapter using a voltmeter. Compare the voltmeter reading to the nominal value written on the adapter or the laptop. 3. If you have another processor which is compatible with your laptop's model, try swapping processors & test to see if the laptop will work. 4. The motherboard could be defective & needs to be replaced.
Please first make sure that your adaptor is working.
Try to remove the battery and connect your laptop to the adaptor. Swith on. If nothing chages, then there is good chance that you have a motherboard related problem.
When you turn on the system and NO BEEP sound it could be a problem with the system board that fails initialize and boot your system to the operating system. If you hear a beeping sound, you may need to reseat the memory card of your system.
Oh thanks.
