I can't reboot my Blomberg compact washer after changing the main control board.

you're facing with your Blomberg compact washer. Here are some steps you can try to reboot your washer after changing the main control board:
  1. Unplug the washer from the power outlet and wait for at least 5 minutes. This will allow the internal capacitors to discharge and reset the control board.
  2. After 5 minutes, plug the washer back into the power outlet and ensure it is properly connected to a reliable power source.
  3. Press and hold the "Start/Pause" button for at least 5 seconds to reset the washer. This may trigger a reboot of the control board and allow the washer to reset to its default settings.
  4. If the washer still does not reboot, you can try performing a factory reset. To do this, unplug the washer from the power outlet, and while holding the "Start/Pause" button, plug it back in. Continue to hold the button for another 5 seconds until the display shows "rES" or "rCL." Release the button and wait for the washer to complete the reset process.
  5. If none of the above steps work, you may need to refer to the user manual or contact Blomberg customer support for further assistance. It's possible that there could be other underlying issues that require professional diagnosis and repair.
Remember to always exercise caution when working with electrical appliances and consider seeking professional help if you're not familiar with the troubleshooting steps.

I have a top load frigidaire affinity washer. Lately it seems to shut off mid cycle or sometimes run through the wash cycle while skipping some steps. Is there a way to reset the computer?

Hey, I understand that you are having some problems with your Frigidaire Top Load Washer. From what you have described it sounds like there could be something going on with the control board. Before contacting a service provider, I would recommend resetting the washer by turning off the power to the appliance for about five minutes. After the five minutes return power to the appliance, this should allow the appliance to return to working condition. At this time if you find the problem still persists, you may want to consider contacting a professional technician. The concern could be the control board. Hope this helps! -JK

What is code f1 on Maytag bravo washer

CCU Error code. It is basically a computer or machine control board error. If unplugging the unit for a few minutes and re-plugging does not reset the board then you are probable going to need a board.

Frigidaire-washer Error Code E31 What does this mean?

It would seem that these newer washers respond much like a computer. If you have not tried it, and this works for multiple error messages, unplug your machine, wait ten minutes and plug back in. Often this resets the board and your error will not reappear.

Duet dryer want reset in pf display mode help please I think it's the control board

"PF" is usually an indication that the Central Control Unit (CCU) has sensed a Power Failure. Have you attempted to unplug the washer for at least 30 minutes? This will reset the CCU, which is the main control board for the washer. Sometimes this is all that is required to correct momentray glitches with the computer. If the error code reappears following a CCU reset, then you have a genuine problem. If you have already attempted this procedure and still have the problem, please post back to this thread and let me know. Sometimes this problems have a simpe solution. I would hate for you to purchase part you may not need. Please let me know...

I just recently purchased a G.E. front load washer and dryer. My washer would run a cycle then sit with 1 min remaining on the display. I know this is an estimated time but it would sit like that for a...

No you didnt ruin your washer, in fact that is the only way to reset the electronics. Just like the computer you are on, they sometimes glitch and lock up. Unplugging a washer doesnt harm it. It doesnt have a hard drive. If the washer continues to do this you will need to replace either the main computer or the display board.

Kenmore HE 9t quiet pak

Sounds to me like the Main Computer has failed. F11 means it is not communicating with the Motor control Board. It has nothing to do with the door locks. Remove to lid of the machine to axcess Main control. Sometimes a tap or two on the board makes them work again for a short time. Leave unit powered down for a few mins to reset board.
