To install skins on Motorola phones you need to install an application called moto skinner. All the infos and applications can be found and downloaded from this site.: http://www.modmymoto.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page Look for your model on the left side. I have already flushed and flexed my phone with these applications. They all working.
This is because the Razr stores texts and emails dynamically according to message size and physical memory available. To balance it out, you would have to delete some outbox messages to store more inbox messages and vice versa. The amount of pictures, ringtones, incoming/outgoing calls, emails, texts, and videos all are drawn off the physical memory of the Razr. The device does not have dedicated application memory so everything is taken off the small amount of memory you are given. Newer Razr's such as the V3m for Sprint offer Memory Cards to supplement additional memory. Your device is equipped with a microSD card slot and you can save your music, pictures, and videos to the card and leave the additional phone memory to texts and application memory. You may not be able to save that much more if you move the pictures and music, but you can save more than if you didnt have a memory card. When reaching the maximum limit of memory the phone will tell you that you need to delete some files before continuing to do anything on the phone.
is that a razr v3 not v3x??well all you have to do is download the motorola drivers and p2ktools, p2k manager or skiman. connect your v3 via cable, install the drivers correctly and then the computer will detect your phone as p2k, if not, open one of the applications that you have downloaded and that should do the work.. then the application will read to your phone files and you can now transfer files from pc to phone and from phone to pc! you can also read the instructions on www.modmymoto.com! thanks and goodluck..
No there isn't free software to download the pictures off your phone to your computer. If you get the Data cable usually it comes bundled with the software to do what you are asking for.
It's just not made easy for you by Motorola, but you can accomplish it. You will use the P2K application Here's how:
1. Plug-in your Motorola Phone’s Mini-USB cable to a USB 2.0 connector on your computer.
2.
Start up the P2K Commander software by clicking on “P2kCommander.exe”
after you have completed the setup instructions that are here.
3.
In the drop down on the pane to the left, select the ‘P2k Mobile Phone’
Icon with a star icon next to it. In some cases, you may need to click
on ‘refresh’ for the software to scan your Motorola RAZR V3. (you should have an app that look like below)
4. By default, the software catalogs all of the
files on your Motorola RAZR under a directory by the name of ‘a’.
Double click on that directory. 5. The next set of files is the base or root of your phone’s file system. Double-click on the folder ‘mobile’.
6. The list of folders here includes several
that you may have interest in, including ‘audio’, ‘picture’, and
‘video’. For the purpose of this tutorial, double-click on the
‘picture’ folder.
7. The pane on the left will now show the list
of available pictures to be transferred from your Motorola mobile
phone. Now choose your destination folder on the right, by
double-clicking to your desired location.
8. Highlight the pictures in the left pane that
you would like to transfer or copy to your computer. Then click the ‘Copy’ icon on the lower right hand side of
the screen to transfer your pictures.
Finally: Got to the Folder(s) on your computer and look at the pics that should now be yours for viewing!
